At Evolutive X, we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and handle your information when you use our website, products, and services.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

• Fill out a contact form
• Submit a tool for review via the Submit a Tool form
• Request a project consultation

The types of information we may collect include your name, email address, company name, and any other information you choose to provide.

Tool Submission Data

When you submit a tool for review via our Submit a Tool form, we collect the information you enter including the tool name, website URL, description, category, pricing model, your name and email address, and your relationship to the tool. This information is stored in our Sanity content management system and used solely for editorial review purposes.

We use Resend to send internal notification emails when a new submission is received. Resend receives only the submission details necessary to deliver the notification. We do not use your submission data for marketing purposes.

You will receive a submission reference ID (e.g. sub-abc12345) when your submission is saved. This reference is public-safe and contains no personal information.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how visitors interact with our Submit a Tool form. PostHog is configured with the following settings:

• Persistence: Memory only — no cookies are set and no data is written to localStorage or sessionStorage. Analytics data does not persist between browser sessions.
• Session recording: Disabled — no screen or session recordings are captured.
• Autocapture: Disabled — PostHog does not automatically capture clicks, DOM interactions, form inputs, or any other automatic events.
• Form capture: Disabled — no form field values, including names, emails, or free-text content, are captured by analytics.

We track only anonymous funnel events (e.g. page viewed, form started, submission attempted, submission saved) to understand where visitors experience difficulty. None of these events include personal information, form field values, or submission identifiers.

PostHog hosting: Events are sent to PostHog's EU region (eu.i.posthog.com). Data is hosted in the European Union. PostHog's data retention defaults apply; see posthog.com/privacy for details.

Opting out: Because PostHog is configured with memory-only persistence and no cookies, there is no persistent identifier to opt out of. Analytics tracking is limited to the current browser session only. You can also use a browser content-blocker or privacy extension to prevent PostHog events from being sent.

Analytics events are non-blocking. If PostHog is unavailable or blocked by your browser, the Submit a Tool form continues to work normally.

How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Review tool submissions against our editorial standards
• Communicate with you about products, services, and events
• Understand and improve our website through anonymous analytics

Information Sharing

We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this policy. We do not sell your personal information.

We use the following service providers, who receive only the minimum data necessary to deliver their services:

• Sanity — content management and submission storage
• Resend — internal notification emails for new submissions
• PostHog — anonymous analytics (EU-hosted, no PII)

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
