Elicit is an AI research assistant built around academic literature. You ask a research question and it surfaces relevant papers, extracts key findings from each one, and lets you build a structured review across large sets of results without reading every paper in full.

It is used by researchers, analysts, students and people doing due diligence in scientific domains. A free tier covers a limited volume of paper analyses per month; paid plans extend access for heavier or ongoing research work.

Elicit significantly reduces the time needed to scan a literature landscape, but it is not a replacement for careful reading of the papers that matter most. Treat its extractions as a structured starting point and read primary sources before relying on any specific finding.
